The mission of the Freedom from Religion Foundation is to protect the rights of non-confessional minorities and to defend against religion.
It’s statutory objectives are, among others:
actions to inform the public opinion on issues related to atheism and promotion of the constitutional principle of separation of church and state,
supporting the process of social education by disseminating and strengthening independent and critical thinking, rational and scientific cognition and explanation of the surrounding world and popularisation of scientific methods and knowledge,
development of civic awareness, democratic attitudes, social and civic involvement,
promotion and protection of human rights, freedoms and civil liberties, in particular the development of tolerance, combating prejudice and supporting the idea of an open society.
